Thread-Bound – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Thread-Bound is a puzzle game made by xyztech.sim ("we"). This page explains what information the game uses and why. If you have any question, write to the email address at the end of this page.

What the game itself keeps

The game saves your progress (which levels you have solved, your stars, which hints you have opened, and your sound and music settings) in a small file on your own device. This file never leaves your device and we never see it. Deleting the game deletes it.

The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a short video you can choose to watch for an extra hint, and an occasional full-screen ad between levels. To show and measure ads, Google's ads software on your device may collect and share with Google:

This information is used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and it is encrypted while it is sent. You can read how Google uses it at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Children

Thread-Bound is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the game and you want something removed, write to us and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
